Hobart Airport to review terminal capacity in light of growing demand

Hobart Airport CEO Sarah Renner stated growing demand has created the need for a review of terminal capacity and infrastructure plans (The Mercury, 09-Jan-2018). Ms Renner forecast the facility to handle three million passengers p/a by 2022, exceeding initial forecasts. "We expect that [figure] with our phenomenal growth continuing into the future", Ms Renner said. She also stated long haul services to Asia are likely to be established by 2022, with service to the Americas next to be targeted.
