Hong Kong/Singapore travel bubble announcement to be made ‘as soon as practicable’

    Hong Kong‘s Commerce and Economic Development Bureau reportedly stated discussions with Singapore over a potential air travel bubble are underway, adding government would make an announcement “as soon as practicable” (Reuters, 22-Apr-2021). As previously reported by CAPA, Singapore’s Transport Minister Ong Ye Kung confirmed the Ministry is studying a proposal from Hong Kong to launch an air travel bubble scheme and will respond “shortly”.
