IATA: Load factor in Latin America stands 'relatively strong' with 74% load

IATA, via its Americas regional briefing for Jan-2021, stated (28-Jan-2021) the passenger load factor remained at record lows (58%) across most regions and at the industry-wide level in Nov-2020. Latin American carriers were the only outlier with load factors standing at a "relatively strong 74%". North American airlines posted load factor levels at 51.8%, down around 30pp year-on-year. On the freight side, demand continued to outpace supply, which resulted in a new record-high industrywide load factor for any November.
