Icelandair Group domestic operation showing signs of recovery in 1Q2021

Icelandair Group CEO Bogi Nils Bogason reported (29-Apr-2021) a focus on network management and a "strong" cargo performance resulted in "acceptable" financial results for 1Q2021. Mr Bogason stated: "Our domestic operation is showing signs of recovery and we believe that its integration into our international operations, completed in the quarter, will result in a stronger and more streamlined airline as well as improved services to our customers". The group's outlook for cargo operations continues to be favourable.
