India and Bangladesh announce resumption of travel bubble arrangements and flights

India's Ministry of Civil Aviation reported direct flights between India and Bangladesh were permitted to resume on 03-Sep-2021 under 'Air Bubble' arrangements (The Daily Star/Reuters/Livemint/Business Standard, 05-Sep-2021). The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh confirmed Biman Bangladesh Airlines and US-Bangla Airlines have resumed services to India from Dhaka. Air India, via its official Twitter account, also announced plans to resume Kolkata-Dhaka service "in the near future". SpiceJet and IndiGo also reported plans to resume operations to Bangladesh.
