Jalan Kalrock Consortium aims to relaunch Jet Airways in 1Q2022

    Jalan Kalrock Consortium announced it aims to relaunch Jet Airways in 1Q2022, following a suspension of operations since Apr-2019 (Economic Times/Reuters/Business Standard/Live Mint, 13-Sep-2021). The airline will resume domestic services from 1Q2022, commencing with Delhi-Mumbai, and aims to resume short to medium haul international services in 3Q2022 or 4Q2022. Jet Airways aims to expand its fleet to more than 50 aircraft within the next three years and more than 100 aircraft within the next five years. The airline plans to hire approximately 1000 personnel by the end of FY2021/2022.
