Jet Airways requests India MoCA suspend or delay plans to reallocate international traffic rights

26 April, 2019

Jet Airways reportedly requested India's Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) suspend plans to temporarily reallocate the airline's international traffic rights to other carriers, or at least delay reallocation until the tender process for the purchase of an up to 75% stake in Jet Airways concludes on 10-May-2019 (TNN/CNBC-TV18/Business Standard, 25/26-Apr-2019). The airline stated reallocation prior to 10-May-2019 "may dampen interest in bidding and break investor confidence".
