JetBlue Airways commences ETOPS certification process for trans Atlantic service

JetBlue Airways president and COO Joanna Geraghty said the carrier has commenced its ETOPS certification process with the US FAA for its trans Atlantic service from Boston and New York to London (Seeking Alpha, 22-Oct-2019). She noted this will be an approximately 18 months to two year process, adding the carrier is still considering what airport to operate to in London, as it "continue[s] to work those issues in parallel".
