JetBlue Airways looking at A321XLR aircraft type: CEO

4 June, 2019

JetBlue Airways CEO Robin Hayes, speaking on the sidelines of the 2019 IATA AGM and World Aviation summit, said the airline is discussing the A321XLR with Airbus, which offers more range and would give the airline "other opportunities" (Reuters, 03-Jun-2019). Mr Hayes noted any order of A321XLR aircraft would be converted from current orders, saying the airline is "still working through" the number of aircraft able to be converted.
