JetSMART CEO calls for 'comprehensive' tourism reactivation plan

JetSMART CEO Estuardo Ortiz, speaking at CAPA Live April 2021, stated (14-Apr-2021) "The region has a lot of priorities and government has focused theirs on the people and small companies, not on aviation". Mr Ortiz said: "We haven't received any support at all and I'm not expecting that to happen at all but what I do think is important is a very comprehensive national reactivation plan for the tourism industry". He added: "We need to find ways to allow people to travel, which will come hand in hand with the vaccination plan".
