Juneyao Air to launch Shanghai Pudong-Helsinki-Reykjavik service in Mar-2020

Juneyao Air, via its official WeChat account, announced (27-Nov-2019) plans to launch twice weekly Shanghai Pudong-Helsinki-Reykjavik service from 31-Mar-2020, operating Boeing 787 aircraft. Reservation has opened for the service. Juneyao Air head of Scandinavian operations Xu Xiang reported the carrier will codeshare with Finnair on operations to Shanghai and have contacted Icelandair for an alliance. Mr Xu said the carrier plans to transport 20,000 passengers in its first year of operating the route and plans to open an Icelandic office in Jan-2020 (The Reykjavík Grapeline/Iceland Monitor, 27-Nov-2019).
