KLM CEO: 'We see that business travellers really want to come back and engage with people'

24 November, 2020

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines president and CEO Pieter Elbers rejected arguments that 50% of business class travel will be permanently cut due to the COVID-19 pandemic (Bloomberg, 24-Nov-2020). "We see that business travellers really want to come back and engage with people", Mr Elbers said. He mentioned that there will be a change in travel patterns, adding that there's "probably going to be more conscious flying by our consumers", who demand improved hygiene, service, flexibility and environmental engagement.
