KLM finds alternative testing protocols for crew returning to the Netherlands

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines reported (23-Jan-2021) it has developed a safe alternative COVID-19 testing protocol for crew leaving airports in countries that are not on the Dutch governmental list of safe countries. This includes an alternative where rapid antigen testing for crew will be arranged at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport before departing from and after returning to the Netherlands. In addition, there are local safety guidelines at the destinations. The government has indicated that this protocol meets requirements. KLM has services from the UKSouth Africa and South America to the Netherlands as of 23-Jan-2021. Cargo flights are excepted in the government measures. [more – original PR] [more – original PR – Dutch]
