KLM looking to expand tour operator operations with Airtrade purchase

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines director Netherlands Harm Kreulen reported the carrier aims to have more control over the joint development of technology behind package holiday deals with its acquisition of a majority stake in Airtrade (luchtvaartnieuws.nl, 19-Feb-2021). Mr Kreulen said the carrier hopes to become a "leading tour operator".
