Ljubljana Joze Pucnik Airport GM Zmago Skobir stated the airport is in talks to host a base for an EU airline (EX-YU Aviation News, 18-Apr-2021). Mr Skobir said: "We are working on having at least one of the EU airlines set up a smaller base at the airport. We believe this would be the fastest and most effective way to improve our country's air connectivity".
