London Stansted Airport CCO: LCCs and airports should cooperate to stimulate demand on new routes

London Stansted Airport chief commercial officer Aboudy Nasser, speaking at the CAPA Global LCC Summit, stated (26-Feb-2019) "Ryanair didn't target routes where huge demand already existed, like London-Amsterdam" when it commenced operations, preferring to operate to destinations where it could stimulate demand. Mr Nasser encouraged airports and LCCs to adopt Ryanair's approach and cooperate to stimulate demand on new routes.
