12 September, 2019

LOT Polish Airlines confirmed (12-Sep-2019) the launch of five times weekly Warsaw-Delhi service, operating with three class Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft. LOT Polish Airlines will connect India with a wide network of European routes via Warsaw. The service provides major development opportunities for LOT Cargo, with capacity of 12.5 tonnes on the 787-8 and 13.5 tonnes on the 787-9. The most frequently transported goods are expected to be pharmaceuticals, neutral goods from Warsaw and the Middle East as well as other countries from Central Europe. LOT Polish Airlines first operated Warsaw-Tashkent-Delhi service in 1985. CEO Rafał Milczarski said: "There is a huge potential of air travels - almost 9.5 million passengers travelled between India and Europe and 3.3 million between Delhi and Europe during the last 12 months".
