Lufthansa to speed up A350 deliveries 'only if the new business class is onboard': CEO

Lufthansa is considering accelerating the delivery of A350s equipped with its new business class configuration, according to Lufthansa Group CEO Carsten Spohr (Executive Traveller, 17-Sep-2020). He said the airline will look to accelerate deliveries of the aircraft "only if the new business class is onboard". Lufthansa's new A350-900 business class is expected to comprise alternating 1-2-1 and 1-1-1 seat layouts to provide a private centre seat for every second row.
