Luxembourg‘s Government announced (26-Jan-2021) plans to impose additional restrictions on air travel from 29-Jan-2021 to 28-Feb-2021. Inbound travellers must present a negative COVID-19 test prior to boarding. Any person travelling by air from a third country outside the EU or Schengen area will have to undergo an additional antigen test upon arrival at Luxembourg Airport and are also subject to non-essential travel rules already in place. Exemptions include transit passengers, travellers making round trips between Luxembourg and the EU/Schengen zone within a 72 hour period, essential workers and military personnel or those able to present a medical certificate indicating they have recovered from COVID-19 within the past three months.
