Malta to include tourism recovery and development strategy in 2021 budget

Malta's Government plans to announce a 2021 to 2030 tourism development strategy, alongside a plan for the national tourism industry to become 'net zero carbon neutral', as part of its 2021 budget outline (independent.com.mt, 19-Oct-2020). The plan will outline digitalisation, sustainability and investment priorities for the national tourism industry, as well as incentive packages to attract international visitors and restore the country's conferences and incentives sector.
