Montreal International Airport reports updated international arrival measures from 22-Feb-2021

Montreal Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport announced (12-Feb-2021) the following security measures for arriving international passengers will take effect from 22-Feb-2021:

  • On arrival to Canada and before leaving the airport, passengers will be required to take a COVID-19 molecular test. Screening tests need to be booked in advance;
  • Following the arrival test, passengers will need to go to a reserved hotel for three nights to await test results;
  • If the passenger receives a negative result for the on-arrival test, they may be able to move to their place of quarantine subject to having a suitable plan;
  • If they receive a positive result in the on-arrival test, they will be relocated to a designated quarantine facility for the remainder of the 14 days of isolation. [more - original PR]
