Muirhead and Polygiene develop seat leather with built-in antimicrobial technology

Muirhead and Polygiene announced (29-Mar-2021) they have developed 'Muirhead Active Hygiene Leather', a sustainable natural leather with built-in antimicrobial technology designed to improve the hygiene of aircraft cabins. The material has built-in antimicrobial self-cleaning properties, incorporating Polygiene's 'ViralOff', which has been demonstrated to break down over 99% of viruses - including COVID-19 - within two hours.
