New South Wales Govt raises more than USD220m in airport station access fee over four years

New South Wales' Government surpassed AUD100 million (USD72 million) p/a in airport station access fees for the first time (Canberra Times, 13-Jan-2019). Revenues from the station access fee increased 16% year-on-year in FY2017/2018, with AUD310 million (USD223 million) in total revenue collected over the last four years. Passengers are charged a AUD14.30 (USD10.30) station access fee when travelling to or from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport's railway stations.
