14 January, 2021

New Zealand's Government approved (14-Jan-2021) an exception class for 1000 international tertiary students, degree level and above, who began their study in New Zealand but were offshore when border restrictions began. The exception will allow students to return to New Zealand in stages from Apr-2021. Students will return in cohorts of 300, with the remaining to return throughout 2021 as Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ) permits. [more - original PR]
