New Zealand’s Prime Minister reports the establishment of new systems for risk based travel

New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced (12-Aug-2021) New Zealand's new individual risk based approach to travel "requires new systems to be set up", and "We will use the remainder of 2021 to continue to prepare for the operation of borders under this system". Ms Ardern said works include the development of a new health declaration system for travellers, new technology for rapid coronavirus testing for arrivals at airports, reliable pre-departure testing, as well as "as piloting self-isolation arrangements for some New Zealanders and strengthening other public health measures such as contact tracing".
