Aeroflot to launch first nonstop service to a regional airport in Scandinavia

Swedavia stated (05-Sep-2018) Aeroflot's planned daily Moscow-Gothenburg Landvetter service will be the carrier's first nonstop route to regional airport in Scandinavia. The service is scheduled to launch on 29-Oct-2018 and is expected to to serve approximately 8000 annual passengers currently travelling with a stopover. 60% of passengers on Moscow-Gothenburg route are leisure travellers. Gothenburg Landvetter Airport director Charlotte Ljunggren said: "We are really pleased about the increased interest in our region, which will also help us reach our target of doubling the number of visitor overnight stays by 2030".
