Air New Zealand confirmed it cancelled and refunded several hundred tickets purchased for one-way services from Auckland to Atlanta and Atlanta to Sydney, after a human error on third party booking sites priced fares at approximately 10% of typical levels (New Zealand Herald/SMH, 26-Jan-2018). Air New Zealand stated fares had been made available as low as USD123 "as a result of a genuine human error in the data entry process" and the fares have been cancelled and customers will receive a full refund from their travel or booking agent.
