Air New Zealand removes on board mask mandate

13 September, 2022

Air New Zealand announced (12-Sep-2022) face coverings will no longer be required on any Air New Zealand operated service from 23:59 on 12-Sep-2022, following the New Zealand Government's amended legislation. This will include all services where a mandate does not exist, however, will still be required on some international services, depending on the individual jurisdiction the flight is arriving in. In addition, vaccination mandates for entry into New Zealand will be removed. International arrivals will continue to receive complimentary rapid antigen tests at the airport, and travellers are encouraged to test on days 0/1 and 5/6. [more - original PR]
