Air Vanuatu to lease 737 from Nauru Airlines, add capacity to Australia and New Zealand

Air Vanuatu announced (31-Jan-2018) it will operate additional capacity on international routes, having entered an agreement to lease a Boeing 737 from Nauru Airlines during peak season ongoing until Jan-2020. The additional aircraft will be deployed on new services between Espiritu Santo, Port Vila and Brisbane, operating three times per week from 18-Jun-2018. The carrier will also use its own Boeing 737 equipment to increase services to Sydney and Auckland said Air Vanuatu CEO Joseph Laloyer. The Vanuatu Tourism Office and the Espiritu Santo Tourism Association welcomed the extra capacity and announced they will work together with Air Vanuatu to promote the additional flights.
