Brazil's Sindicato Nacional dos Aeroviarios (National Aviation Personnel's Union – SNA), via its official YouTube account, announced (09-Apr-2019) a court in Sao Paulo decided to authorise lessors to reposes Avianca Brazil's aircraft. Lessors signalled plans to repossess 20 aircraft. Avianca Brazil stated the repossession of these aircraft would be "disastrous" to the carrier's operations. The carrier plans to return five aircraft in Apr-2019, four in May-2019, eight in Jun-2019, 16 in Jul-2019 and eight in Aug-2019. The carrier already returned three aircraft and is in the process of returning six aircraft.
