Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg said the aircraft manufacturer plans to build and deliver more than 900 aircraft p/a by 2020 (CNBC/Bloomberg, 16-Feb-2018). The company is targeting 2018 deliveries of 810 to 815 aircraft, after record deliveries of 763 aircraft in 2017. According to Mr Muilenburg, the aircraft manufacturing sector is transitioning from a "high-cycle business" in to a "long-term sustained growth business".
