CAAC suspends more international services

CAAC stated (17-Jan-2022) the following international services will be suspended for two weeks after passengers on the services tested positive for coronavirus in early Jan-2022:

  • Suspension from 24-Jan-2022:
    • Lufthansa's Frankfurt-Shanghai;
    • China Southern Airlines' Sydney-Guangzhou;
    • China Eastern Airlines' Frankfurt-Shanghai;
    • American Airlines' Dallas-Shanghai;
    • Delta's Detroit-Shanghai;
    • China Eastern's Paris-Shanghai;
    • Xiamen Airlines' Vancouver-Xiamen service suspended for four weeks;
    • Etihad Airways' Abu Dhabi-Shanghai;
    • Lion Air's Jakarta-Wuhan;
    • SWISS' Zurich-Shanghai;
    • United Airlines' San Francisco-Shanghai;
  • Suspension from 31-Jan-2022:
    • Sichuan Airlines' Vancouver-Chengdu service;
    • United Airlines' San Francisco-Shanghai;
    • Egyptair's Cairo-Hangzhou service to continue to be suspended for a further two weeks;
    • China Southern's Los Angeles-Guangzhou service to continue to be suspended for a further four weeks;
  • Suspension from 07-Feb-2022:
    • China Southern's Toronto-Guangzhou service to continue to be suspended for a further four weeks;
    • China Eastern's Paris-Shanghai service to continue to be suspended for a further four weeks;
    • Neos' Milan-Tianjin service to continue to be suspended for a further four weeks;
    • China Southern's Amsterdam-Guangzhou service to continue to be suspended for a further four weeks;
  • Suspension from 14-Feb-2022:
    • China Southern's Paris-Guangzhou service to continue to be suspended for a further four weeks;
    • Air Canada's Vancouver-Shanghai service to continue to be suspended for a further two weeks;
  • Suspension from 21-Feb-2022:
    • China Southern's Nairobi-Changsha service will continue to be suspended for a further two weeks;
    • Air China's Paris-Tianjin service to continue to be suspended for a further four weeks;
