Copa Airlines could be interested in Boeing's NMA: CEO

Copa Airlines CEO Pedro Heilbron reportedly stated the carrier is interested in Boeing's New Midsized Airplane (NMA), particularly with its potential to offer extra capacity on longhaul routes (Aeroin, 03-Mar-2018). Mr Heilbron referred to the carrier's Brazil operations, noting the new aircraft could cater to the routes with greatest demand. Existing widebody models do "not make sense" for the carrier at present, however the new model could if it offers "more capacity and reach" for the World Cup.
