Cuba expects an 8.5% reduction in international tourists driven by US restrictions

Cuba's Ministry of Tourism, via its official Facebook account, announced (15-Aug-2019) the country reached the three million international tourists hosted milestone on 15-Aug-2019. Cuba forecasts ending 2019 with a total of 4.3 million tourists hosted, an 8.5% year-on-year reduction (HostelTur, 16-Aug-2019). Canada is the major source market while Russia is "highlighted" as the major growing issuing market.
