Destination NSW partners with Westpac to attract further visitation

Destination NSW entered (09-Aug-2019) a partnership with Westpac to produce a new data modelling tool, 'Destination NSW Westpac Tourism Expenditure Monitor'. The tool will provide aggregated data from deidentified visitor data for the New South Wales (NSW) tourism industry, to be utilised to attract more visitors by understanding visitor spending trends. Each report will highlight changes, monthly, to reveal how many people are visiting and travelling within NSW, where the travellers are from, demographic details of those travellers as well as visitor spending patterns. [more - original PR]
