Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) reportedly plans to construct new airfields near Axim, Bolgatanga and Cape Coast in order to boost tourism and develop aviation infrastructure (Joy Business, 14-Jan-2018). The agency will conduct feasibility studies before evaluating design and construction later in 2018 and 2019.
