11 June, 2020

IATA reported (09-Jun-2020) it expects the recovery on international travel will occur via three phases:

  • Phase 1 (Mid Jun-2020 to July-2020): Countries with weekly new COVID-19 cases of less than 50 per 100,000 people and daily new cases of less than 1000 start to open up between each other. This will mainly be countries within Europe and within Asia;
  • Phase 2 (3Q2020): Regions that are affected by COVID-19 assumed to contain the virus and start to open, with a lag compared to Europe;
