ITA Airways and Kuwait Airways enter codeshare agreement

Italia Trasporto Aereo (ITA Airways) signed (06-Jun-2022) a codeshare agreement with Kuwait Airways, applying to services from 06-Jun-2022. Under the agreement, ITA will codeshare on Kuwait Airways' services between Kuwait and Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa. Kuwait Airways will codeshare on ITA's domestic services to Palermo, Catania, Florence, Brindisi, Bari, Venice, Turin, Genoa, Trieste, Bologna, Naples and Lamezia Terme, as well as ITA's international services from Rome to Athens and Nice. Both carriers issued a joint statement outlining they have "agreed to explore additional possibilities of cooperation in the future with frequent flyer programme and expansion of codeshares".
