Jetstar launches Adelaide-Hobart service

Jetstar launched (14-Nov-201) Adelaide-Hobart service, operating up to three times weekly effective immediately. The carrier expects to handle up to 55,000 passenger p/a on the route. The airline reported it has already sold more than 15,000 fares on the route. The route is the only nonstop service between the two cities, offering time savings of at least three hours according to Jetstar Group CCO Catriona Larritt. [more - original PR]
