Lufthansa resumes mobile check-in to non risk Schengen areas

Lufthansa announced (01-Sep-2021) it is resuming smartphone check-in services for passengers on flights from non-risk areas of the Schengen area (currently including Spain, Italy and Sweden) to Germany. The carrier will issue passengers with their boarding pass directly to their smartphone when checking in. This is made possible through automatic and digital verification of EU vaccination certificates and COVID-19 test results from the Centogene laboratory.
