Norse Atlantic plans feeder agreements to support point to point network: CEO

14 July, 2021

Norse Atlantic Airways CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen, speaking at CAPA Live July 2021, stated (14-Jul-2021) the carrier plans to serve secondary airports and will prioritise point to point operations over hub and spoke "whenever the catchment area is big enough". He continued: "There will be certain areas where we'll need feeder agreements, and we have several interested airlines on both sides of the Atlantic there". Mr Larsen also stated the carrier expects not only to raise competition for existing business through its low cost point to point approach, but to "actually stimulate demand, [increasing] the number of people travelling across the Atlantic".
