Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA reduces carbon emissions more than 30% over 10 years

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA head of communications and public affairs for Sweden and Finland Charlotte Holmbergh Jacobsson said contributing to sustainable aviation is important for the carrier, as it is investing in new technology and fleet (Göteborgs-Posten, 15-Aug-2019). Ms Holmbergh Jacobsson noted until there is until sustainable aviation jet fuel is available, new aircraft is one of the most effective measures to reduce carbon dioxide. Ms Holmbergh Jacobsson additionally stated due to the carrier's young fleet, the carrier has reduced emissions by more than 30% over 10 years.
