NZALPA reaches pilot agreement with Air New Zealand

NZ Air Line Pilots' Association (NZALPA) reached (07-May-2020) an agreement with Air New Zealand to "save as many pilots' jobs as possible and ensure a fair process for getting other pilots back in the air once the recovery gets underway". Approximately 900 Air New Zealand jet pilots will remain on payroll, however take a 30% pay cut over nine months, leaving approximately 300 jet pilots to be made redundant.
