Queensland's Government: Jetstar to launch Gold Coast-Tokyo Narita service

Queensland's Minister for Tourism, Innovation and Sport and Minister Assisting the Premier on Olympics and Paralympics Sport and Engagement Stirling Hinchliffe stated (26-Jul-2022) the AUD200 million (USD139 million) partnership with Queensland's four international airports and industry, has led to a Gold-Coast-Tokyo Narita service to be operated by Jetstar. The Jetstar service is scheduled to launch in Aug-2022, with the "potential to support up to 1027 jobs over three years and generate AUD275 million (USD191 million) in overnight visitor spending for the Gold Coast visitor economy".
