Russia to establish aviation hub in Siberia

Russia's Transport Minister Evgeny Ditrikh said the establishment of an aviation hub in Siberia is planned in terms of the aim to increase the volume of air services operating between regions and bypassing Moscow by 50% (TASS/irk.ru, 05-Jul-2018). Mr Ditrikh said 63 airfields and in the Far East will also be reconstructed. The plans for infrastructure development will be submitted to the government for review by 15-Aug-2018.
