Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport announced (07-Aug-2022) plans to remove the following COVID-19 related restrictions and conditions for transit passengers from 08-Aug-2022:
- Transit passengers only permitted to stopover at Taiwan Taoyuan for a maximum of 12 hours;
- Transit passengers must remain in dedicated zones within the passenger terminal;
- All legs of transit passengers journey must be issued on a single ticket;
- Transit passengers must be accompanied by an airport employee in order to shop at duty free retail outlets.
From 08-Aug-2022, transit passengers will be permitted to shop and dine at all outlets available to international passengers in the terminal. [more - original PR - Chinese]
