TAP blames Brexit for suspension of operations in London City, upgauges other London services

15 August, 2019

TAP Air Portugal attributed (13-Aug-2019) its planned suspension of services from London City Airport to Lisbon and Porto to "uncertainties in customer demand associated with Brexit" and poor demand. As previously reported by CAPA, the carrier also plans to suspend Porto-Barcelona, Lisbon-Stuttgart, Lisbon-Cologne and Lisbon-Basel services, all effective 26-Aug-2019. The carrier plans to upgauge aircraft on other Lisbon and Porto services to London.  [more - original PR - Portuguese]
