Virgin Atlantic Airways to offer Australia services through Virgin Australia codeshare

Virgin Atlantic Airways CEO Craig Kreeger announced plans to offer services from London to Melbourne and Sydney, operating via either Hong Kong or Los Angeles, through its codeshare relationship with Virgin Australia (express.co.uk, 11-Mar-2018). As previously reported by CAPA, Virgin Australia commenced Melbourne-Hong Kong service in Jul-2017 and announced plans to operate Sydney-Hong Kong service by mid 2018. In late Feb-2018, Virgin Australia announced Sydney-Hong Kong service will connect with Virgin Atlantic Airways' London service.
