Wizz Air opens base at Venice Marco Polo Airport, to launch 16 new services in 2022

Wizz Air opened (06-Oct-2021) a new base at Venice Marco Polo Airport, marking its seventh base in Italy after Milan Malpensa, Catania, Palermo, Bari, Naples and Rome Fiumicino. The airline will base two A321neo aircraft in Venice to support the launch of four domestic and 12 international destinations. Details include:

  • Venice-Cagliari: Three times weekly from 03-Mar-2022;
  • Venice-Lamezia Terme: Three times weekly from 03-Mar-2022;
  • Venice-London Luton: Four times weekly from 03-Mar-2022;
  • Venice-Naples: Daily from 03-Mar-2022;
  • Venice-Casablanca: Three times weekly from 04-Mar-2022;
  • Venice-Tallinn: Twice weekly from 04-Mar-2022;
  • Venice-Lampedusa: Twice weekly from 06-Mar-2022;
  • Venice-Mykonos: Three times weekly from 01-Apr-2022;
  • Venice-Palma de Mallorca: Three times weekly from 01-Apr-2022;
  • Venice-Prague: Three times weekly from 01-Apr-2022;
  • Venice-Reykjavik: Twice weekly from 02-Apr-2022;
  • Venice-Santorini: Twice weekly from 02-Apr-2022;
  • Venice-Tel Aviv: Twice weekly from 02-Apr-2022;
