Norse Atlantic Airways expecting to launch transatlantic flights by summer 2022

Norse Atlantic Airways announced (10-Aug-2021) it expects demand for trans-Atlantic travel to return by 1Q2022 or 2Q2022 and anticipates all its Boeing 787s will be operating between Europe and the US in summer 2022. CEO Bjorn Tore Larsen stated: "Our plans are on track and operations will commence when travel restrictions are lifted and demand for trans-Atlantic travel is back". He added: "We strongly believe that there is a need for a new and innovative airline serving the low-cost intercontinental market". The carrier aims to have 1600 employees by summer 2022.
